Susan Alvey
Susan Alvey is a specialist in the areas of organizational change, organizational communication, and leadership development. Susan was formerly the Director of Organizational Learning and Development at Harvard Business School Publishing. Susan led the employee communication and training efforts at Tufts Health Plan. Prior to her years at Tufts, she worked with numerous public and private client organizations. She has spent many years teaching communication at the college level and has helped hundreds of individuals to effectively communicate in the workplace.

John Boudreau
Professor and Research Director at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Center for Effective Organizations, John Bodreau is recognized worldwide for breakthrough research on the bridge between superior human capital, talent and sustainable competitive advantage. He is a co-author of Beyond HR: The New Science of Human Capital (Harvard Business School Press, 2007), which shows how organizations can strategically differentiate their HR practices and metrics to create value.

John has published more than 50 books and articles, which appear in such scholarly journals as Management Science, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Human Resources Costing and Accounting. Features on his work have appeared in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Fast Company and Business Week, among others. John holds an undergraduate degree in business from New Mexico State University, a master’s degree in management and Ph.D. in industrial relations from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.

Tammy Erickson
Tammy Erickson is a McKinsey Award-winning author and widely respected expert on organizations and the changing workforce. Her research focuses on the shifting relationship between individuals and corporations, and on enhancing innovation and workforce productivity. She is President of The Concours Institute, a firm supporting senior executives with leading-edge ideas, innovative custom education, and pragmatic business applications.

Tammy has co-authored three Harvard Business Review articles as well as the book Workforce Crisis: How to Beat the Coming Shortage of Skills and Talent (Harvard Business School Press, 2006). Her latest book, Retire Retirement: Career Strategies for the Boomer Generation (Harvard Business School Press, 2008), gives employees of the Baby Boomer generation approaches to renegotiating their relationship with work. Tammy holds a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Martha Fields
Martha R. A. Fields has close to 25 years of experience in management, human resources, and diversity/globalization. She is President, Founder, and CEO of Fields Associates, Inc., a firm that provides consulting, coaching, and educational programs in the areas of human resources management; executive development; diversity and globalization; and work/life integration.

Since 2000, she has chaired the Linkage Summit on Leading Diversity, the nation's premier diversity conference. Martha is the former president of the Boston Human Resources Association, and has received numerous awards, including the NorthEast Human Resources/Society for Human Resources Management's (SHRM) John D. Erdlen Five Star Award. She is a frequent keynote speaker, and the author of the popular books Indispensable Employees: How to Hire Them, How to Keep Them, and Love Your Work by Loving Your Life (LwL²).

Linda Hill
Linda A. Hill is the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration in the Organizational Behavior Area at Harvard Business School and unit chair of Organizational Behavior, faculty chair of the Leadership Initiative, and she has chaired numerous HBS Executive Education programs. From her more than 20 years of extensive field work, Linda has helped managers create the conditions for effective management in today’s flatter and increasingly diverse organizations.

She is the author of the best-selling Becoming a Manager (Harvard Business School Press, 1992), and the content expert for Coaching for Results and Managing Direct Reports, award-winning Harvard ManageMentor.

Philip Kotler
Philip Kotler is a world-renowned expert on strategic marketing. As a Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Philip’s research spans a broad number of areas including consumer marketing, business marketing, services marketing, and e-marketing.

He is the author of numerous publications including the best-selling book Marketing Management (Prentice Hall, 2000), A Framework for Marketing Management (Prentice Hall, 2001), Principles of Marketing (Prentice Hall, 2001), and Marketing Moves (Harvard Business School Press, 2002). Dorothy Leonard
Dorothy Leonard is the William J. Abernathy Professor Emeritus of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, where she teaches courses in corporate creativity, new product and process design, knowledge management, and innovation.

Professor Leonard is the author of three books on innovation, Wellsprings of Knowledge: Building and Sustaining the Sources of Innovation, When Sparks Fly: Igniting Group Creativity, and Deep Smarts: How to Cultivate and Transfer Enduring Business Wisdom. Professor Leonard’s major research interests, consulting expertise, and teaching efforts relate to creativity and managing the innovation process.

Annie McKee
Annie McKee is co-chair and Managing Director of the Teleos Leadership Institute, where she works collaboratively with senior executives and board members to create innovative approaches to organizational transformation. She also teaches in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania and at the Wharton School's Aresty Institute of Executive Education.

She is co-author of Primal Leadership: Realizing the Power of Emotional Intelligence, and Resonant Leadership: Renewing Yourself and Connecting with Others Through Mindfulness, Hope and Compassion.

June Paradise Maul
President of Advantage Value, a consulting and education company, Dr. June Paradise Maul has experience leading large-scale change as well as line organizations, having been Chief Learning Officer at Qwest and having held senior management positions at AT&T.

Dr. Maul has taught executive development programs in corporations and graduate level business and leadership programs—incorporating strategic planning, balanced scorecard, strategic leadership, virtual workplace, decision making, and creative resourcing into education initiatives. She is invited to speak globally on leadership, strategic planning, and creative resourcing. Dr. Maul received her Bachelor of Science in Asian Studies and Geology from M.I.T. and her Doctorate in Science and Humanities from Rutgers.

Michael Watkins
Mr. Watkins is Professor of General Management at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and co-founder of Genesis Advisers, a leadership development consulting company that works with Fortune 500 companies. He has served as a faculty member of Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
